The first private credit bureau of Azerbaijan “Azerbaijan Credit Bureau” LLC (ACB) was established on January 15, 2018 by the founders of 8 large banks of the country.

ACB, being one of the main components of the financial infrastructure, has signed contracts to exchange information with 257 organizations that include Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 22 banks, 24 banks under liquidation process, 56 non-bank credit organizations, 9 non-bank credit organizations under liquidation process, 37 credit unions, 1 credit union under liquidation process, 20 leasing companies, 15 insurance companies, 7 insurance companies under liquidation process, 3 mobile, 3 utility services operators, 46 retail companies, 5 factoring, 1 collector and 2 lombard companies as of November 1st, 2024.

ACB collects and analyzes information belonging to individuals and legal entities, and minimizes the risks of legal entities and individuals who are data users by assessing potential customers, monitoring the behavior of existing customers and providing the most up-to-date portfolio management solutions. ACB compiles, analyzes and submits data collected from data providers in the form of credit reports. Thus, it serves to reduce credit risks by reducing financial asymmetry.

Founders

On December 20, 2017, the General Meeting of Founders of 8 major banks of the country decided to establish “Azerbaijan Credit Bureau” LLC. The authorized capital of the Company consists of 8 equal parts with a total amount of 2,000,000 (two million) manats, each with a nominal value of 1,000 (one thousand) manats and 2,000 (two thousand) shares.

In 2002-2007 he worked as a leading specialist and senior specialist in the Information Technology Department of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In 2007-2016, he was the head of the Central Bank's Centralized Credit Registry Service.

In 2016-2018, he continued to work as the head of the Central Credit Registry Service of the Chamber of Control over Financial Markets.

On February 1, 2018, by the decision of the General Meeting of Founders of the Azerbaijan Credit Bureau, he was appointed General Director.
