A new composition of the Supervisory Board of Azerbaijan Credit Bureau has been formed

On May 14, 2018, the General Meeting of "Azerbaijan Credit Bureau" LLC (hereafter Bureau) was held. Along with the issues on the agenda, organizational issues were considered at the meeting and a decision was made to form a new Supervisory Board.

Asaf Huseynov - Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Shakir Rahimov, Farid Mammadov, Elshan Badirkhanov, Kamran Majidov, Zamig Mammadov, Ahmet Kudret Ishler were approved as members of the Supervisory Board.

At the first meeting of the new Supervisory Board amendments to the Law “On Credit Bureaus” by the Decision of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 4, 2018 was discussed and decided to take necessary measures to meet the requirements of the normative act.

In order to further enrich the information on credit histories, new tasks have been set for closer integration of information systems of utility companies with Bureau.

In the end, in order to further expand the activities of the Bureau, decisions were made to attract new information providers and users, as well as to facilitate access to the services of Bureau by citizens.

“Azerbaijan Credit Bureau” LLC was established on January 15, 2018 at the initiative of 8 banks - “International Bank of Azerbaijan” OJSC, “Bank Respublika” OJSC, "Xalq Bank" OJSC , “Kapital Bank” OJSC, “Pasha Bank” OJSC, “Rabitabank” OJSC, “Unibank” OJSC, “Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan” OJSC - operating in the country. Bureau collects, maintains, analyzes customer credit information from a wide range of sources, including leasing, insurance, utilities, mobile phone operators, and other debt-related databases, as well as provides individual creditors with information on credit history. is an institution that provides ratings and other value-added services.
