Azerbaijan Credit Bureau activated new scoring service
"Azerbaijan Credit Bureau" (hereafter ACB) from 24th August 2020 activate new scoring service for partner organizations.
This model which has a high predictive power (Gini coefficient - 66.3) is created by ACB and Republic of Turkey's "Kredi Kayıt Bürosu" (hereafter KKB) in the framework of joint cooperation.
The new service provides a study of borrower behavior based on the analysis of information collected on credit history subjects at ACB and the issuance of individual ratings based on the results obtained.
The new credit scoring service will play an important role in simplifying valuation procedures in credit institutions, saving operating costs, reducing credit risks, as well as strengthening the borrower's financial discipline. Thus, organizations using this service will be able to calculate the probability of future default of the borrower on the basis of past credit data and determine its suitability for a new loan.
The score scale of the new service will be between 1-1000.
It should be noted that ACB was established in 2018 by 8 leading banks of the country. In the current period, the number of organizations with which ACB cooperates has reached 137.
