The Azerbaijan Credit Bureau’s New Service: Launch of the Visual Analytics Portal
The Azerbaijan Credit Bureau (Bureau) has launched a new service—a visual analytics portal. The FinVision visual analytics portal (Portal), developed in a benchmarking format widely used in international practice, plays a significant role in ensuring the efficient organization of the financial and banking system’s operations.
Initially, the Portal offers 16 benchmark reports that are most commonly used in international practice. Each report enables partners to conduct comparative analyses of their portfolio data against market participants across various sectors and segment groups, providing detailed insights into the current state of market shares. Financial institutions can utilize these reports for formulating short-, medium-, and long-term development strategies, developing and evaluating risk strategies, and conducting comprehensive analyses when introducing new products and services to the market.
The Bureau has conducted presentations and training sessions for credit organizations and legal entities engaged in the sale and purchase of goods on credit. These sessions provided detailed information about the Portal’s functionalities and advantages. Additionally, the Bureau shared updates on its ongoing efforts to expand the coverage of the reports available on the Portal.
The Bureau was established on January 15, 2018. It serves as an institution that collects, stores, analyzes, and provides credit history information not only from credit organizations but also from a wider range of sources, including leasing, insurance, and utility service providers, companies engaged in installment-based sales, and other debt-related databases. The Bureau also generates credit reports, assigns individual credit ratings to borrowers, and delivers additional value-added services.
Currently, the Bureau collaborates with over 260 organizations.
