Azerbaijan Credit Bureau celebrates its anniversary

The Azerbaijan Credit Bureau (ACB) celebrates another anniversary of its establishment. Founded on 15 January 2018 by eight leading banks in the country, ACB has over the years become one of the key institutions contributing to the enhancement of financial inclusion and the maintenance of financial stability.

Currently, ACB cooperates with more than 280 partner organizations and provides over 40 services and products for the key participants of the financial sector. These services include credit reports, score reports, analytical and benchmark reports, as well as data-driven solutions for portfolio and risk analysis.

ACB collects and processes data related to both individuals and legal entities. The Bureau offers modern analytical tools that enable data users to assess potential customers, monitor the behavior of existing customers, and manage credit portfolios effectively. This approach helps financial institutions minimize risks and establish more objective decision-making processes.

ACB also successfully operates at the international level. It currently chairs the Eurasian Credit Information Providers Association (ACIPE), which brings together 14 credit bureaus from 11 countries, and actively contributes to the promotion of best practices and the expansion of cooperation in the field of credit information at a regional level.

At the same time, Findoc, one of the key components of ACB’s digital transformation strategy, already serves more than 170,000 users. The portal provides citizens, legal entities, and individual entrepreneurs with 24/7, fully digital access to credit information collected by the Bureau.

In the next stage, ACB aims to continue strengthening data-driven decision-making mechanisms, expanding analytics and artificial intelligence-based solutions, and broadening the scope of innovative products and services that support the sustainable and inclusive development of the financial sector.
