Employees of the Azerbaijan Credit Bureau trained university students within the framework of the "Financial Literacy" program

The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan works to protect the rights of consumers of financial services and investors, and at the same time, to increase financial literacy of consumers, and continuously organizes events.

As a continuation of these events, on December 6, 2023, training on the subject of "Credit history" was organized for the students of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction under the "Financial Literacy" program. The training was presented by Ilkin Agayev, Head of the Department of Consumer Affairs of the Azerbaijan Credit Bureau (AKB) and Yusif Agayev, Chief Lawyer.

In the "Credit history" training, an overview of the credit bureau, the creation and history of AKB, services, scope, information that makes up the credit history, legislation, methods of obtaining a credit history, and the topics of disputing the credit history were given detailed information.

It was reported that AKB, which was founded in 2018 by 8 founding banks, currently cooperates with more than 230 organizations. AKB collects, analyzes and analyzes the data of individuals and legal entities and minimizes their risks by providing state-of-the-art solutions for evaluating potential customers, monitoring the behavior of existing customers, and managing portfolios. AKB collects data from data providers in the form of a credit report, analyzes it and makes it available upon request from users. It also serves to reduce credit risks by reducing financial asymmetry.
