On June 23, 2025, "The First International Credit Reporting Conference" was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, organized by the Azerbaijan Credit Bureau.

Dedicated to the theme “From Data to Decisions: The Future of Credit Bureaus” the event brought together representatives from the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Banks Association, the Azerbaijan Credit Bureau (ACB), the Association of Credit Information Providers of Eurasia (ACIPE), leading commercial banks, international credit bureaus, and global experts. The conference focused on key topics such as the role of credit reporting and scoring in lending decisions, risk management, the data economy, artificial intelligence, identification tools, and digital transformation.

Senior management and delegates from the credit bureaus of nine ACIPE member countries – Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Georgia, and Ukraine – participated in the event.

The conference provided a platform for discussions on the development paths, achievements, and challenges faced by credit information providers, who play a crucial role in supporting financial stability and inclusion. Participants also exchanged ideas on products and services offered by the respective institutions and explored potential areas for future cooperation.

It is worth noting that ACIPE, in which the Azerbaijan Credit Bureau is represented at the governance level, was founded on April 17, 2018, in Baku. The organization aims to foster collaboration among credit bureaus across the Eurasian region, promote the exchange of experience on innovative products and services, and strengthen cooperation in the field of credit reporting.
