Why get a utility statement?

In some cases, the credit history of the applicants is insufficient. This makes it difficult for credit providers to predict borrower repayment behavior. In such cases, any information about the borrower is important for a successful decision. To overcome this problem, credit bureaus offer them a utility statement. The statement on utilities produced by the Bureau contains detailed information on the balance of the current debt for each of the borrower's utility obligations (electricity, gas, water debts) and the schedule of payment of utility debts for the last 12 months.
